AOBA is pleased to present the Member Advertising Program as a more streamlined and comprehensive marketing program
(replacing the FRG Program). In this time of economic recovery we recognize the need for a fully rounded marketing
program that targets a national audience using radio, internet, print and leads – beneficial to ALL farms no matter
their size. Your participation dollars purchase the ads that drive web searches; generating leads which in turn have
the potential to produce sales. Allow AOBA to lead you down the road M.A.P. to advertising success.

| ADVERTISEMENT GUIDELINES: |
|
AOG print publication guidelines ensure equality for all advertisers |
|
- Focus of the ad must be an alpaca farm (a physical location, not a website or other business endeavor)
- One Farm/One Ad Rule: Only current Farm Members may advertise in the AOG and only one advertising package per farm/ranch. Multiple ads are not permitted.
- One location per ad (e.g., businesses with multiple locations must purchase separate AOBA memberships and AOG ads for each geographic location).
- If business office is located in a different state than the physical location of the alpacas for sale, the advertiser will have the option as to which state in which to place his/her ad.
- Any website URLs listed must directly link to the advertising farm's home page and be relevant to the AOG listing (e.g., the listed URL must take the viewer directly to an alpaca operation).
- AOBA logo use in an ad is permitted, as long as AOBA endorsement isn’t implied.
- Ads must contain the word "alpaca".
- A farm name may appear in only one AOG ad and may not be cross-referenced in another farm's ad (Exceptions: farm names that are embedded in the registered name of an alpaca or in the web/e-mail address).
- A farm logo may only be used in one AOG ad.
- Cooperatives and joint ventures can only register with AOBA as "Associate Members," so are therefore ineligible to participate in the AOG program.
- Cooperatives and joint ventures among multiple AOBA Farm Members strictly for the purposes of advertising are not permitted in the AOG section. Such joint ventures among AOBA Farm Members ARE permitted. (Joint family operations are exempt from this restriction).
- Advertising more than one business in the ad is approved only if all businesses are alpaca-related or in some way related to the sum-total operation of one alpaca farm (subject to AOBA Marketing Committee approval).
- The AOG is an annual publication and should appear current through July 2013, therefore date-specific ads will not be accepted.
